We don't track you. We don't have servers. We don't store your data. Your transcriptions go directly to OpenAI. That's it.

What we collect

Nothing. Zero. Nada. Zilch.

No analytics. No telemetry. No crash reports. No usage stats. We literally don't know you exist unless you email us.

We're just a pipe between your microphone and OpenAI. We don't touch, store, or look at your data.

Your audio files when you transcribe. That's between you and them. Check out OpenAI's privacy policy if you care about that stuff.

Stored in macOS Keychain. That's Apple's encrypted vault. We can't see it. Nobody can see it except your Mac.

WhisperBar only talks to:

We don't ask for anything else. No contacts. No calendar. No file system access. No accessibility permissions.

Everything's gone. No traces. No leftover files. No "phone home to say goodbye" BS.
